I am a technologist and entrepreneur with an academic background and over 20 years of experience in product development, artificial intelligence, and building and growing technology companies.
I’ve authored several books and academic papers on AI and multi-agent systems and write/speak frequently on the topic. You can also check out my videos and talks.
I run a Substack newsletter called AgentsDecoded.com where I share my thoughts on AI agents and multi-agent systems.

Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed exploring the application of cutting-edge technology to real user needs. Hand in hand with that I’m constantly learning how to create work environments where people can thrive, fostering both professional growth and personal wellbeing in an open way.
Today I work as a fractional CTPO and AI strategist through 12vectors, helping companies work out where AI genuinely makes a difference and then building the product, architecture and team to make it real. Alongside that I advise and mentor startups.

Current engagements
CTPO and co-founder of VC-backed OpenDialog.ai, which builds purpose-built AI agents that safely automate regulated insurance journeys. I guide product and technology strategy on a fractional basis.
Startup advisor and mentor, including at the HEC Paris-based Creative Destruction Lab on the AI and Next Generation Computing streams. I also work directly with founders on AI product strategy, early technical decisions and getting to a first version that proves the idea.

Education
BSc (First Class Honours) in Computer Systems Engineering from Warwick University.
PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, where my research focused on agent-oriented software engineering.
